Safety
Approve guidelines for safety and fatigue risk management systems.
Approve standards for ground operations that are based on industry best practices, complementing the
IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations
(ISAGO).
Sign a data sharing agreement with the EU, the US and ICAO.
Environment
Achieve a reduction of at least 1.5 million tonnes of CO2, including:
30 initiatives related to Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA)
50 Performance Based Navigation (PBN) projects
12 flex routings
50 initiatives involving Continuous Descent Arrivals (CDA).
Approve a process for reporting fuel use and CO2 emissions.
Gain endorsement of the ICAO Assembly for a framework to limit and reduce aviation emissions that is consistent with the industry’s position.
Simplifying the Business
Fast Travel
: 60 new implementations in the five project areas of the program, with at least five implementations per project.
All Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and 10 airlines
e-services
capable.
Baggage Improvement Program
(BIP): a total of 40 airports visited and 20 airports undertaking self-help.
e-freight
: capability at 44 locations, 76 major airports and with 20 electronic documents replacing paper.
Financial
Achieve savings/cost avoidance of US$2 billion in industry taxes, charges and fuel fees, including at least US$500 million in real cost reductions.
Harmonize Advance Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) message standards.
